Rail Refurbishments

The objective of these refurbishments is to re-align the rails in such a manner as to have the floor of the train at the same level as the platform. This enables people with disabilities and the elderly easier access to and from the trains.

The partnership with Messrs Nu-Basadi involves the use of innovative precast concrete track-slab modules, which enables the accurate placement of the tracks whilst reducing long-term maintenance.
